Normann Copenhagen cheese knife Pebble black
The cheese knife belongs to the series Pebble by Normann Copenhagen, designed for serving cheese in visually elegant presentation. The series consists of four different pieces of cutlery and a serving platter in two sizes.
With Pebble, designer Simon Legald has turned his attention to everyday serving cutlery and given it an aesthetic lift: "When you're choosing dishes or cutlery, you often think very carefully about what might be right - and forget about the serving cutlery, which is, after all, what goes on the table. I wanted to design accessories for serving cheese that people like to present," he says.
The cutting utensils have a minimalist look, as if they were made from a single mold, yet they clearly reveal their function. With the knife for soft cheeses, the slicer for hard cheeses and the cutter for medium-hard cheeses, as well as a cheese fork, you can create a complete cheese cutlery set. All cutlery pieces are equipped with a comfortable silicone handle. The handle and blade present themselves in masculine black.
The dark look continues with the serving platter, which is made of black marble. A recess in the plate serves as a decorative element and is also a practical recessed grip when lifting from the table. The platter is available in two shapes - one elongated, the other more square - each offering different serving options.
Pebble takes its name from the rounded design common to all the pieces in the series, from the arches of the cutting tools to the organic shape and gently polished edges of the serving platter. The individual parts of the series can be used separately, but complement each other. The combination of the matte, pliable silicone and the polished marble creates an exclusive and modern look.
The Pebble series is suitable for the cheese buffet or the breakfast table. But the plates are also ideal for serving cold cuts or snacks or as a decorative furnishing element.
